I have iOS14 or higher and cannot connect my e-mark to the app. What should I do?
With iOS14 Apple introduced more security features and therefore your iOS device will ask you for allowance to connect to the e-mark app with a local network. If you do not allow this, the connection cannot be established and you will not be asked again automatically. However, there are 3 easy ways to allow the app to connect afterwards.
The same steps apply for connecting to the e-mark create app with iOS14 or higher.
Option 1: Delete and re-install the app
- Delete the app from your device (Attention: You will lose all imprints in the app. Do a backup to restore after re-installing)
- Re-install the e-mark app again via the AppStore and open it
- When the message appears, click on OK

Option 2: Allow the connection in your device’s privacy settings
- Go to the settings app of your device
- Scroll down a bit and select Privacy
- Select Local Network
- Activate the switch button (should be green)

Option 3: Allow the connection in your device’s app settings
- Go to the settings app of your device
- Enter e-mark in the search bar and select the e-mark app
- Activate the switch button at Local Network (should be green)
